Janice Dorman

Janice "Ja" Wyatt Dorman, 73, of Cowpens, died Saturday, December 29, 2012, at her home. Mrs. Dorman was born in Spartanburg, a daughter of the late Rayford and Bettie Lee Wyatt. She was a member of Converse Baptist Church and was retired from the City of Spartanburg. Surviving are her loving husband, Kenneth Ray Dorman; her sister, Elaine (Donald) Johnson of Roebuck; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Burnette of Spartanburg and Jane (Doug) Fraley of Fort Mill, SC; her nieces, Kim Blanton, Tina Upton, Donna Brown, and Kerry (Scott) Miller; a dear family friend, Danny Holland; and a number of great-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Monday, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Norman Philbeck the Rev. Mike Davis. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Carolinas Chapter, 4530 Park Road, Suite 230, Charlotte, NC 28209. The family is at the home.
