Janet Hyatt Robbins, 84, of Inman, passed away on Wednesday morning, January 22, 2025, at her residence. Born on May 15, 1940, in Robeson County, NC, Janet was a daughter of the late Duncan Hyatt and Pansy Mincey Hyatt Pryor.
Janet was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church and was a retired registered nurse from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Surviving is her husband, Fred Hilton Robbins; her sons, Frederick Darryl Kinlaw (Janet) and Chuck Robbins (Pat); her granddaughter, Janna Kinlaw Walling Braciszewski (Robbie); her grandson, Kyle A. Robbins; her sister, Laura H. Cook; her aunt, Shirley Byrd; her nephew, Brad Cook (Shelley); her niece, Jennifer Cook; her great-nephews, Jacob Cook (Brittany), Jared Cook (Reagan) and Brandon Cook: and a cousin, Jeff Byrd.
Janet was predeceased by a son, William Maurice Kinlaw, Jr.; her grandson-in-law, Trevor Walling; and a nephew, Jeff Cook.
A graveside service will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Jack Hames. The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mobile Meals, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304 or to Miracle Hill Ministries, 189 N. Forest Street, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Jackie and Baleigh with Interim Hospice for the tender care shown to Janet.
