Jane Davis

Jane Varn Davis, 83, of Inman, SC, died Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born December 30, 1933, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Carson Varn and Betty Estelle Thornton Varn. She was married for 60 years to the late Ernest T. Davis. Mrs. Davis was an active member of Gravely Memorial United Methodist Church for 60 years. She was also a graduate of Limestone College and retired from Milliken and Company after 36 years of service. Survivors include her daughter, Angie Davis Gaines (Wright) of Inman, SC; and grandson, Zachary Gaines. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Cheryl Davis. Visitation will be 2:00-3:30 PM Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Scott S. Gilmer.
