Jane Smith

Jane Pryor Smith, 71, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, November 23, 2015, at Valley Falls Terrace-Spartanburg. Born April 30, 1944, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late George Pinckney Pryor and Inez Beheler Pryor and widow of Charles G. Smith. She attended Solid Rock Church. Surviving are her daughters, Linda Owensby and her husband Michael, of Pacolet, SC and Kimberly Hyatt Roberson and her husband Scott, of Boiling Springs, SC; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rebecca Hall and Peggy Koonce, both of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Johnny Pryor and Jimmy Pryor, both of Spartanburg, SC; and special friend, Harold Murray of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Michael Charles Smith and Terry "Bo" Smith. Visitation will be 12:30-1:45 PM Friday, November 27, 2015, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Randall Lewis. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Memorials may be made to Solid Rock Church, 1326 Union Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family is at their respective homes.
