Jane Nettles

Jane Wilder Nettles, 69, died Saturday, October 30, 2010, at her home. Born September 21, 1941, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Brice M. and Frances Moss Wilder and wife of David Allen Nettles. She was a 1963 graduate of Converse College, retired from teaching in Spartanburg County District 7 schools, a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church, and on the Board of the Alive and Well Animal Rescue Center and Director for adoptions since 1998. Additional survivors include a son, David Wilder Nettles and wife Sharon Horne Nettles of Charlotte, NC; a granddaughter, Kathrine Elizabeth Nettles; and all her four-legged children. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Dr. David A. Renwick and the Rev. Dr. Trey Kuhne. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mobile Meals Service, P.O.
