Jane Haynes

Jane Culcleasure Haynes, 86, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at White Oak Estates. Born January 3, 1926, in Concord, NC, she was the widow of Frederick Eugene Haynes Jr. and daughter of the late James and Helen Talbert Culcleasure. Mrs. Haynes retired from teaching at E. P. Todd Elementary School. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church, past president of Alpha Mu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and past president of the Spartanburg Chapter of SCEA (South Carolina Education Association). Survivors include her son, Frederick Eugene Haynes III of Spartanburg, SC; grandson, Frederick Eugene Haynes IV and wife Ashley of Ft. Mill, SC; brother-in-law, Keith Haynes and wife Judy of Hobbysville, SC; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Bishop and husband Cecil of Cross Anchor, SC. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 1, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Dr. Kirk H. Neely. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
