Jane Thomas Crook, 59, of Spartanburg, SC, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born on May 30, 1961, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Lamar and Sybil J. Hall Thomas.
Jane was the founder and previous co-owner of The Vintage Warehouse of Spartanburg and had most recently founded and co-owned Shoppes on Henry. She loved painting, gardening, and interior design. Jane was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Jane is survived by her loving husband, Jim Crook; daughter, Sarajane Bailey Pryor (Phillip); sons, Andrew Bailey (Brooke) all of Spartanburg, SC; Brandon Crook (Jessica) of Roebuck, SC and Grant Crook (Nichole Tackett) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Landon Bailey, Safia Crook, and Davina Crook; sisters, Beth Thomas McKay of Spartanburg, SC, Debby Thomas Valentin of Scotland, and Jackie Thomas Strickland of St. Helena Island, SC.
Visitation will be held 12:00-1:30 PM Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM in the Chapel, conducted by The Rev. Sal Barone. A private burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Foundation Mammography Assistance Fund, 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
