James Franklin "Jamey" Wright, II, 16, of Jamestown, NC and formerly of Spartanburg, died Friday, December 21, 2012 from injuries received in an automobile accident. Jamey was born on May 20, 1996 in Lexington, SC. He was a 10th grade student at Southwest High School in High Point, NC and formerly attended St. Paul United Methodist Church in Spartanburg. Surviving are his parents, James Franklin and Annissa Smith Wright of the home; his sisters, Mary Catherine and Grace Ann Wright of the home; his brother, Clay Russell Wright of the home; his maternal grandparents, Nelson and Johnette Smith of Spartanburg; his paternal grandparents, Jim and Anita Wright of Cherryville, NC; and his maternal great-grandmother, Ruth Roberts Cobb of East Flat Rock, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:15 - 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1320 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. The family is at the home of Nelson and Johnette Smith, 219 Harrell Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
