James Randall Wiles, 54, of Spartanburg, SC, despite an incredible will and courageous fight, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Mary Black Hospital. Born November 28, 1960, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Christine Kilgore Arrowood of Cowpens, SC and the late James Waymon Wiles, Jr. He loved NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhardt fan! In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Amanda Wiles Golden of Boiling Springs, SC, Sharon Wiles Wade (Sammy D.) of Ringgold, GA, and Dana Wiles Shinta (Joseph) of Boiling Springs, SC; nephews, Adam Shinta (Jennifer) and Quentin Golden; nieces, Courtney Dobbins (Andrew), Kirby Pennington, and Mallory Whitley (Alan); and best friend, Heyward Leake. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his step-father, Wesley Arrowood. A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 noon Friday, January 23, 2015, at Cowpens First Baptist Church, 108 W. Church St., Cowpens, SC 29330, by The Rev. Dr. Bill Westafer. Burial will be private.
