James Wallace Sutherland, 86, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Thursday, May 24, 2012, at his home. Born December 15, 1925, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late William Raymond and Addie Belle Strickland Sutherland and the last surviving member of his immediate family. Mr. Sutherland was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, owner of Sutherland Wholesale-Sundries, a graduate of Notre Dame, lifelong member of Bethel United Methodist Church, and a 33rd Degree Mason in St. John's Lodge. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Dolores Wood Sutherland of Boiling Springs. A cryptside service, with Masonic rites, will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 27, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, by the Rev. David B. Smith and the Rev. David E.
