James Searcy

James Edward Searcy, 50, of Cowpens, SC, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born February 22, 1967 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Walter Edward "Bud" Searcy and Louise O'Sullivan Searcy. Mr. Searcy was an employee of Tindall Concrete as a crane operator for many years and was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Searcy; daughter, Brandy Nicole Searcy of Cowpens, SC; step-children, Sabrina Whitener (Dave) and Lee Burnett (Amanda) all of Cowpens, SC, and Shannon Al-Jarrah (Sam) of Converse, SC; nine grandchildren; a niece, and sister, Linda Searcy Van Dyke (Craig) of Swansboro, NC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by twin sisters, Polly and Paulette Searcy. Visitation will be Monday, August 7, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. No flowers please.
