James Mcdade

James Harold McDade, 82, of Union, SC, died Monday, January 12, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born September 2, 1932, in Union, SC, he was the son of the late James Darwin and Ruth Poole McDade. A graduate of Union High School and a retired veteran of the U. S. Air Force, Mr. McDade was a member of Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church where he was an elder. Survivors include his beloved wife of 42 years, Peggy Mabry McDade; son, Mike McDade; grandsons, Jami and Jacob McDade; and great-granddaughter, Haley McDade. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church, 6001 Hwy 215, Pauline, SC 29374, by the Rev. Dr. B. E. Pettit. Visitation will follow in the Family Life Center. Burial will be in Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church Building Fund, PO Box 279, Pauline, SC 29374. The family is at their respective homes.
