James Johannigman

James B. Johannigman, 73, of Spartanburg, died on Friday, February 22, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Clarence and Julia Berning Johannigman. Before retiring to Spartanburg eight years ago, he was employed in manufacturing management at General Electric and Tecumseh Products. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Maureen Travers Johannigman; and sister-in-law, Verna Johannigman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers. Funeral services will be private. No flowers please, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. The family would like to thank his many friends and fellow bridge players in Greenville and Spartanburg for their support and kindness during his illness.
