James "Dugan" M. Faux, 89, of Spartanburg, died Sunday, September 6, 2009, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born May 6, 1920 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Frank William and Kate Owen Faux and was the husband of the late Anna Kenny Faux. Mr. Faux was the former owner of Southeastern Paper Company, was a Mason and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He attended The Citadel and was awarded The Purple Heart for his service with the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Surviving are his children, Ann Faux Cisneros and her husband Jose, Susan Faux-Lewis and her husband Richard, Mike Faux and his wife Rebecca Kay, Patricia Garcia-Raikos, and Jode' Faux; his twin sister, Margaret McMillan; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia Irene Faux; a sister, Katherine Hunt; and a brother, Frank "Bud" Faux. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Cryptside services will be held 9:00 AM Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at Heritage Memorial Gardens, Roebuck, SC, conducted by the Rev. Keith Davis.
