James Faulkner Sr.

January 14, 1940 — December 9, 2016

James H. "Jim" Faulkner, Sr., 76, of Roebuck, SC, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 9, 2016, at his home. Born January 14, 1940, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late James Clayton and Eva Pruitt Faulkner. A loving husband, father, and Papa, he was a 1958 graduate of Spartanburg High School and U. S. Marine Corps veteran. Jim was a retired supervisor with Moore Machine Works after 36 years of dedicated service. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church in Roebuck, a volunteer Little League Baseball Coach and enjoyed riding his Harley for "Toys for Tots". He was also a member of Roebuck Masonic Lodge #157 AFM for 56 years and was a contributor to the Shriner's Hospital for Children. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Dianne Edwards Faulkner of the home; children, James Henry Faulkner, Jr. (Tina) of Roebuck; Joseph Shawn Hawkins, Sr. (Marilyn) of Spartanburg; Lisa Faulkner Kirkman (Eddie) of Anderson; J. Travis Faulkner (Kristin) and Jason Clayton Faulkner (Janie), all of Roebuck; and 10 grandchildren, Joseph "JoJo" Hawkins, Jr., Jameson Edward Faulkner, Eva Grace Kirkman, Mary Kaitlyn Faulkner, Raleigh Dianna Faulkner, Kelsey Halie Faulkner, Kalli Savannah Faulkner, Klaycie Morgan Faulkner, Luke Travis Faulkner, and Lucy Wren Faulkner. Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Home Care & Hospice, PO Box 430, Drayton, SC 29333; or to Upstate Warrior Solutions, 3 Caledon Court A-2, Greenville, SC 29615.
