James Easler

James "Loyd" Easler, 86, of Spartanburg, SC passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born April 20, 1934 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Fred and Rachel Martin Easler. Loyd was retired from Community Cash. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Loyd loved his family and church family, and enjoyed farming and hunting. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Carol Seay Easler; his daughter, Crystal Humphries (David) of Chesnee, SC; grandson, Evan Humphries; brothers, Byce Easler (Reba) of Cookeville, TN, and Tommy Easler (Alice) of Simpsonville, SC; sisters, Inez Greene (Warren) of Chesnee, SC and Juanita Wood (William) of Roebuck, SC; sister in laws, Gail Easler and Yvonne Easler, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by brothers, Donald Easler and Jack Easler. Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery, 1551 Bryant Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303 conducted by The Rev. Ty Childers and The Rev. Charlie Glover. The family ask that friends and family wear masks and keep social distancing per the Covid-19 precautions.
