James Cook

James Curtis Cook, 24, of Pacolet, SC, died Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born May 12, 1993 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Brian and Johanna Congleton Cook. A member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church, Mr. Cook was a landscaper/handyman and he loved fishing. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Courtney Gay Cook; son, Cayden James Cook; sister, Victoria Cook; grandparents, Curtis Congleton (Glenda) and Claudine R. Cook; father & mother-in-law Jodie and Donna Gay all of Pacolet, SC and "Bolt" his Maltese Chihuahua. Visitation will be 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Brown's Chapel Baptist Church, 350 Green Street, Pacolet, SC 29372, with services following at 2:00 PM at the church, conducted by the Rev. Ralph Jett, the Rev. James McDowell, the Rev. Dustin Dean, and Mr. Brian Davis. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372.
