James Coleman

James Adrian Coleman, 88, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Emeritus at Skylyn Place. Born January 7, 1924, in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Henry Grady and Gladys Cunningham Coleman. Mr. Coleman was a charter member of Beaver Hills Baptist Church, a 1941 graduate of Roebuck High School, and retired from the Spartanburg County Delinquent Tax Office. Surviving are his beloved wife of 67 years, Lukeva West Coleman; daughter, Sandy Earnhardt and husband Adger of Roebuck; son, Ron Coleman and wife Harriet of Monks Corner; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter; and brother, Charles Kenneth Coleman. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 14, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, by Mr. George Bagwell. Visitation will be at the graveside.
