James Bradley

James "Jimmy" M. Bradley, 74, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home with his family by his side. Born in Spartanburg on January 14, 1942, he was the husband of Brenda Lindsey Bradley and the son of the late Thomas Wells Bradley and Annie Kimbrell Bradley. Surviving are a daughter, Lora Bradley High and husband Jeff. He was adored by his three grandchildren, Anna Louise High, James Coleman High and William Bradley High of Spartanburg. Also surviving are sisters, Mary Henderson and husband Bobby, Sarah Miller and husband Alan, and a brother, Tommy Bradley, and many loving nieces. Mr. Bradley was the owner/operator of The Pipe Rack ladies clothing stores in Spartanburg for 30 years. He was a member of Central Church of Christ. In addition to being a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he was an avid reader, history buff, and great fan of his grandchildren's athletic competitions. Visitation will be 11:00-11:45 AM Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Central Church of Christ, 2052 N. Church Street Place, Spartanburg, SC 29303. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon, at the church, officiated by Mr. Ernie Thigpen. A private burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southeastern Children's Home, PO Box 339, Duncan, SC 29334-0339.
