Jacqueline Kay Black Hester, 65, of Spartanburg, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 28, 2009, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born December 20, 1943, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Francis Edward and Lillian Elizabeth Holder Black and the wife of the late Theodore Wayne Hester. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a son, Scott Watford and his wife Tammy of Natoma, KS; two daughters, Pam Ballenger and her husband Allen of Lyman, and Cindy Owen of Spartanburg; a sister, Deborah Cook and her husband Jerel of Inman; a brother, Russell Black and his wife Linda of Irmo; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Ronnie Pettit and the Rev. Jerry Madden. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at the home.
