Jacob Seay

William Jacob "Jake" Seay, 18, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Born August 9, 1996, in Spartanburg, he was the son of Jennifer Cheryl Tinsley Seay of Washington State and the late William Tracy Seay. Jake loved the outdoors and was an avid sports fan. He played little league baseball and football, was on the wrestling team at McCracken Jr. High School, and achieved a red belt at Spartanburg Martial Arts. He attended First Presbyterian Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sisters, Kasey Marie Spencer of Spartanburg, Jillian Belle Seay of Washington, and Amber Elise Seay of Spartanburg; brother, Jackson Alexander Seay of Washington; and maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Alice Tinsley of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Bobby and Ann Seay. Visitation will be 1:00-2:45 PM Thursday, May 28, 2015, at First Presbyterian Church with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM, conducted by The Rev. Joanne Hull.
