Jackie Trail

Jackie L. Trail, 78, of Spartanburg, died Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born April 4, 1935, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Lester A. and Vernice Bradley Trail. He was a U.S. Army veteran, retired from Jolley Services, and of the Baptist faith. In addition to his wife of 55 years, Gwen Trail, survivors include a daughter, Malinda Trail Fowler of Spartanburg; a granddaughter, Jessica Lauren Fowler of Spartanburg; a grandson, Nicholas Jacob Fowler of Spartanburg; and a special nephew, Jody Lamb of Woodruff, SC. He was predeceased by a sister, Ruby Groce. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, March 24, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Graveside services, conducted by the Rev. Eddie Hall, will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
