Jackie Harrison

Jackie Harrison, 84, of Boiling Springs, died Sunday, October 11, 2020, at his home. A native of Spartanburg County, Jackie was born on August 25, 1936, a son of the late George and Margaret Woodward Harrison. He was a veteran of the US Navy, attended Rutledge College, and was a longtime employee of Firestone Steel and later with Spartanburg Steel Products. Jackie loved his family and spending time with family, watching his grandchildren growing up and taking them camping. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Doris Revis Harrison, his son, Jackie Dale Harrison of Boiling Springs, his two grandsons, Justin Michael Harrison and Brandon Ray Harrison (Stephanie), both of Boiling Springs; and two sisters, Erlene Harrison Nelson and Peggy H. Lawson (Buster) of Enoree, SC. Jackie was predeceased by a son, Raymond Harold "Ray" Harrison; his brothers, Ernest, Lester, Boyce, Curtis, Harold and C.G. Harrison, and his sisters, Leona Williams, Gladys Johnson, Wilma Wilson, and Dorothy Sulton. Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Dr. David Lancaster and Chaplain Sandra Smith. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
