Jack Tobin, 84, of Spartanburg, SC died Sunday, May 03, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. He was born December 9, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Nathan and Esther Tobochnik. Mr. Tobin was a graduate of University of Pennsylvania and was the former owner of Tobin Pattern Service. He was a member of Temple B'Nai Israel, where he served as President from 1980-1983. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Marcia Diamond Tobin; daughters, Jessica Moody of Ashland City, TN and Carol Rose (Marc) of Alpharetta, GA; sons, Steven Tobin (Abbe) of Roswell, GA; Ian Tobin (Pat) of Atlanta, GA; Jamie Tobin of Spartanburg, SC; and Martin Tobin, of Springfield, VA; grandchildren, Aaron Moody, of Clarkesville, TN; Adrienne West (Chris) of Canton, GA; Danielle Tobin, of Roswell, GA; Emily Tobin of New Orleans, LA; Kelsey Tobin of New York, NY; Brianna Pogal-Tobin of Detroit, MI; Michael Rose, of Atlanta, GA; Dena Rose of Alpharetta, GA; great granddaughter, Hannah Madalyn West, of Canton, GA. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 5, 2015 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by Rabbi Yossi Liebowitz. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Temple B'Nai Israel, 146 Heywood Ave., Spartanburg, SC 29302 in gratitude of the caring committee.
