Jack Knight, Jr.

Jack Knight, Jr., 57, of Boiling Springs, died Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born January 31, 1952, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of Jack Knight, Sr. of Boiling Springs and the late Elizabeth Ellene Owenby Knight. He was a graduate of Spartanburg Technical College, a former employee of Arkwright Mill, and a member of First Baptist Church North Spartanburg. Surviving in addition to his father is a son, Jack Casey Knight, two daughters, Christy Trivette and Beverly Cox, and five grandchildren, all of Boiling Springs; and a "very special friend", Deborah Crisp. He was predeceased by a brother, Bobby Knight. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Floyd�½s Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Darrell Cothran and the Rev. Ken Mayfield. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303; or to the charity of one's choice.
