Jack W. Hudson, 91, of Anderson and formerly of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Richard M. Campbell Veteran's Nursing Home-Anderson, SC. Born July 24, 1926, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late John and Pearl Mooneyham Hudson and husband of 65 years to the late Millie Northcutt Hudson. A U. S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Hudson was a Civil Servant for many years as Chief Warrant Officer for the South Carolina National Guard 228 Signal Corps. For two years following his retirement, he was employed with the Adjunct General's Office and he was a member of First Baptist Church Spartanburg. Survivors include his daughters, Mona Ezell (Don) of Spartanburg, SC and Becky Kennedy (Bob) of Marietta, GA; four grandchildren, Leigh-Ann Ezell Caudill and Marie Ezell Scott, both of Spartanburg, SC, Matthew Kennedy and Phillip Kennedy, both of Atlanta, GA; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Rev. Dr. Harold Hudson of Jacksonville, FL. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM, conducted by The Rev. Bob Neely. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
