Pinkney Lafayette "Jack" Clary, Jr., 94, of Inman, SC, died Friday, December 18, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born January 29, 1921, in Cherokee County, SC, he was the son of the late Pinkney Lafayette Clary, Sr. and Alta Rupp Clary. Mr. Clary was a WWII Navy Seabee veteran. He owned Artex Cleaners and was retired from Flowers Bakery. He was a member of First Baptist of North Spartanburg and was a former Deacon and Sunday School teacher at Park Hills Baptist Church. Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Brockman Clary; son, Henry Ronald Clary of Salisbury, NC; daughter, Patricia Batchler of Boiling Springs, SC; five granddaughters; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Doris Spencer of Cowpens, SC; brothers, Ray Clary of Gaffney, SC and Guy Clary of Cowpens, SC. He was predeceased by a son, Jackie Brockman Clary; grandson, Henry Ronald Clary, Jr.; sisters, Edith Whelchel and Sue Moore. Visitation will be 10:00 - 10:45 AM on Monday, December 21, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
