Irving Daniel Hahn, Jr., 79, of Duncan, died Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born February 10, 1933, in Hackensack, NJ, he was the son of the late Irving D. Hahn, Sr. and Charlotte Thornton Hahn. Mr. Hahn was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Torrington Fafnir Bearings and was a member of Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Arlene Faith Steward Hahn; son, Marty Hahn and wife Cheryl of Dacula, GA; daughter, Robin Hahn-Arif and husband Nouri Arif of Duncan, SC; grandchildren, David Picone, Steven Picone, Nick Allen and wife Monica, Kayleigh Hahn, and Madison Hahn. He was predeceased by a son, I. Daniel Hahn, III. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Sunday, April 22, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. Dr. David L. Davis. Burial with military rites by the SC State Guard Honors Team will follow in Westwood Memorial Gardens.
