Irvin Floyd Terrell

Spartanburg, SC

 

Irvin Floyd Terrell, 83, of Spartanburg, and formerly of Michigan and Pawley’s Island, SC, passed away on Saturday afternoon, September 9, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.  He was born August 22, 1940, in Paw Paw, MI, a son of the late Floyd and Viva Edson Terrell.  He was married to Deanne Stephenson Terrell for the last 60 years. 

Irvin was a 1964 graduate of Michigan State University.  He was a longtime sales representative and plant manager with Aeroquip and Eaton performance products. Irvin enjoyed playing tennis and golf, and following retirement, could frequently be found on the links at Willbrook Plantation at Pawley’s Island. He was baptized in the Presbyterian church. 

Surviving, in addition to Irvin’s wife, Deanne, are his three sons, Douglas Stephen Terrell (Crystal) of Boiling Springs, SC, Greg Alan Terrell (Beth) of Roebuck, SC and Mark Andrew Terrell (Candice) of Apex, NC; his 9 grandchildren, Jessica Meneses, Andrew Terrell, Grant Terrell, Hayley Terrell, Harrison Terrell, Cade Terrell, Langston Terrell, Ryan Kincaid and Christian Kincaid; his two great-grandchildren, Brooks Kincaid and Emilia Meneses; his sister, Marlene DePierre of Kalamazoo, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Irvin was predeceased by two sisters, Barbara Kalanj and Angeline Duffey. 

The family will plan for a Celebration of Life Service to be held at a future date.
