Iris Caldwell

Iris Colleen Caldwell, 91, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, April 3, 2017, at Waterford at Dillon Point. Born August 7, 1925 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Toy Thomas and Lenora Poteat Caldwell. Miss Caldwell was a retired administrative assistant with the Spartanburg County Courthouse and she also retired from Bridges Furniture Company after 30 years of service. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Mason Caldwell, Toy Caldwell, Sr., and Stanley Caldwell; and sister, Frances C. Lanford. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, April 6, 2017, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
