Irene Romeiro Marco, 80, of Inman, SC, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at RoseCrest Lutheran Homes of South Carolina. Born April 1, 1936, in New Bedford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria Romeiro and widow of Francis William Marco. Mrs. Marco worked with the Spartanburg County Treasurers Office and was former owner of Byegone Treasures Antique Shop. A member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church she enjoyed traveling and dancing, walking at Milliken Research, and was also active in many activities at RoseCrest. Survivors include her daughter, Ann Marie Cranford and husband John Cranford, Jr. of Chesnee, SC; son, Bill Marco and wife Anita of Norcross, GA; and grandsons, Patrick Marco of Norcross, GA and Joseph Marco of Athens, GA. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, August 19, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by Pastor George Brown. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to RoseCrest Lutheran Homes of South Carolina, 200 Fortress Drive, Inman, SC 29349.
