Inez English

Inez B. Smith English, 86, formerly of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Summit Medical Center of Hermitage, TN. Born March 20, 1936 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late James and Roxie Blackwell and was the wife of the late Donald English.

Inez was a beautician for over 40 years. She was a founding member of Manna Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, David Smith (Laura) of Lebanon, TN; her grandchildren, Brittany Smith-Burdette, Brett Smith, Brandi Smith, Terra Finley, Trey Herr, James Keller, and Alex Keller; nine great grandchildren, many loved nieces and nephews, and her daughter-in-law, Melinda Keller. She was predeceased by her sons, Woodson B. Keller and Terry Wayne Keller.

Visitation will be 3:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, December 9, 2022 at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Manna Baptist Church, 121 Flatwood Lane, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. at the church, conducted by The Rev. David Mattox and The Rev. Danny Cannon. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens, 1101 South Alabama Avenue, Chesnee, SC 29323.
