Ina Sprouse

Ina Elizabeth Ravan Sprouse, 74, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at White Oak Estates after fighting illness for a while. Born May 5, 1939, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lewis L. and Junie Elizabeth Lyda Ravan. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Mrs. Sprouse retired from nursing with White Oak Estates. She was a member of North Spartanburg Freewill Baptist Church, a pianist, Sunday School teacher, and choir member. Survivors include her beloved husband of 55 years, E. W. Sprouse; daughter, Debbie Goins (Rusty); grandsons, Gabriel Goins and Damon Ray Goins; great-grandchildren, Cece Goins and Daniel Goins; and sister, Omalee Golightly, all of Spartanburg. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Tim Hackett. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home of E. W. Sprouse.
