Imogene Seymour Dunlap, 86, of Spartanburg, SC died Friday, July 17, 2015, at her home. Born July 7, 1929, in Sweetwater, TN, she was the daughter of the late Lee Johnson and Jewel Butler Seymour, and the step-daughter of the late Hazel Rose Seymour. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Arcadia where she was a teacher of the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class. Surviving are her daughters, Gail Dunlap Walker (Don) of Spartanburg, SC; Dianne Dunlap Lancaster of Boiling Springs, SC; sons, James Lee Dunlap (Gladys) of Easley, SC; Alan Lamar Dunlap (Stacey) of Spartanburg, SC; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James D. "J.D." Dunlap, Jr. and a sister, Patricia Seymour Smith. Visitation will be 5:00-8:30 PM Monday, July 20, 2015, at First Baptist Church Arcadia, 241 Spring Street, Spartanburg, SC 29301. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at First Baptist Church Arcadia, conducted by the Rev. Shawn Shipman. Private family burial will be held at Westwood Memorial Gardens. Box 220, Pauline, SC 29374 or to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Special Needs Fund, 120 Heywood Ave., Ste. 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
