Ida Bell Graham Malone, 92, formerly of Spartanburg, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Ashlan Village-Lyman, SC. Born October 31, 1920, in Gadsden, AL, she was the daughter of the late George Franklin and Ola Davis Graham. She was the wife of the late Edmund David Malone for 67 ½ years. Mrs. Malone was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Eastern Star Lone Oak Chapter #208, the Hope Sunday School Class, and the Golden Age Club. She was retired from Milliken & Company after 18 years of service. Survivors include daughters, Phyllis Whitmire and Peggy Cate (Virgil), all of Spartanburg, SC, and Patti Fowler (Mark) of Wellford, SC; grandchildren, David Cate (Carrie) of Mt. Holly, NC, Jason Cate (Heather) of Greenville, NC, SSgt. Matthew Fowler (Katrina) of Jacksonville, NC, and Mitchell Fowler of Wellford, SC; and great-grandchildren, Rhys Cate, Mattison Cate, Mason Fowler, and Madox Fowler. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by brothers, James Graham, Harry Graham, and Dewey Graham; and sisters, Aliene LeMaster, Daisy West, and Betty Hughes. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, May 10, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. Rufus Chaneyworth and the Rev. Mark Fowler.
