Hugh Obituary

Hugh Albert Dodd, 91, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at his home. A native of Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Eli and Frances Bagwell Dodd. A veteran of the U. S. Army, Mr. Dodd was retired from Norfolk-Southern Railroad Hayne Yard. He was a member of Green Street Baptist Church, a Mason, and Shriner. Among survivors are his wife, Mary Blackwood Dodd; son, Hugh A. Dodd, Jr. (Mary) of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren, Ali Dodd and Hugh Bradley "Brad" Dodd; and great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Aidan Dodd. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, November 14, 2014, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Larry Fleming.
