Hoyle Brown Jr.

Hoyle Pemberton Brown Jr., 87, of Spartanburg, SC died Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born May 31, 1933 in Spartanburg, SC he was the son of the late Clara Sprouse and Hoyle Pemberton Brown, Sr. A U.S. Army Veteran and graduate of Limestone College, Mr. Brown was a retired supervisor with IMC. He was a member of First Baptist Spartanburg. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Joyce Bowers Brown; sons, Dennis Brown of Chesnee, SC and David Brown (Cathy) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Austin Brown (Natalie), Tyler Brown, Alyssa Brown, and Samantha Dosher (Josh) and great-grandson, Jackson Dosher. He was predeceased by a grandson, Aaron Brown. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 29, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307 conducted by The Rev. David F. Ervin.
