Howard Sinsley

Howard Lawrence Sinsley, 84, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, September 7, 2015, at Woodlands at Furman-Greenville. Born March 14, 1931, in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Sam and Terry Hendless Sinsley. A U. S. Air Force veteran, Mr. Sinsley served with the Presidential Honor Guard at the White House during the Eisenhower Administration. He was a graduate of the University of Tampa and retired from Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, FL as College Administrator. Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years, Nina Jane Garber Sinsley; children, Jay Iskols Sinsley (Barbara) of Spartanburg, SC, Kate Gabrielle Freedman (Richard) of New York City, NY, and Joshua Barnett Sinsley (Debbie) of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren, Jeff Sinsley, Eric Sinsley, Harris Sinsley, Haley Sinsley, Harry Freedman, and Bergman Freedman; and sister, Sue S. Milman of Florida. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 10, 2015, in Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave., Paramus, NJ 07652.
