Howard Howell

Howard Howell, 93, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, September 17, 2016 in Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born March 24, 1923 in Union County, SC, he was the son of the late Willie and Bridgie Hope McCullough Howell and widower of Mary Madge Thrasher Howell. Howard was retired from Milliken and Company, Cotton Blossom Plant and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters, Karen H. Sanders (Thomas) of Boiling Springs, SC; Myra A. Corbin (Grady) of Boiling Springs, SC; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Sara Ann Farr; brothers, William Howell; Bill Howell; Charles Howell; Donald Hope Howell. He was also predeceased by six siblings. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev Jim Spencer. Visitation will follow at the Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 239307. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
