Hollis Jackson

Hollis Wayne Jackson, 71, of Inman, SC, died Sunday, December 27, 2015, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born July 22, 1944, in New Prospect, SC, he was the son of the late Willie Elmore and Susan Luezetty Ezell Jackson. Mr. Jackson was the owner/operator of Hollis Jackson Landscaping for 40 years before his retirement. He was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church. Survivors include his beloved wife of 52 years, Ollie Mae Drake Jackson; son, Donnie Jackson (Charla); sisters, Lillian Stacy, Catherine Morris (Harold), and Carol Miller; brothers, Larry Jackson (Wanda), Billy Jackson (Ellen) all of Inman, SC, Jimmy Jackson (Veena) of Boiling Springs, SC and Roger Jackson (Pam) of Wellford, SC; and granddaughter, Dani Lynn Jackson of Inman, SC. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by sisters, Ruby Foster and Girlee Pruitt and brothers, Garland and Ralph Jackson. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:30 PM Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Lake Bowen Baptist Church, 404 Sugar Ridge Road, Inman, SC 29349, with services following at 2:00 PM conducted by the Rev. Mark Williams. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Pallbearers will be Allen Newman, Larry Tomlin, Donnie Mahaffey, Larry Jackson Jr., Terry McDowell, and Chris Shields.
