Hilda Genita Badger

Hilda Genita Badger, 89, of Moore, South Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

Daughter of the late Lloyd Henry and Ruby Elizabeth Parham, Hilda was born June 4,1935 in Comer, Georgia. She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Tom H. Badger, and daughter, Tina Badger Tiernan (Keith) of New Orleans, LA. Her sister, Jewel Meyers, and brothers, Alfred, Guy, Hughel and Malcolm Parham, predeceased her.

Hilda attended Morningside Baptist Church and was an active member of the Ruth Sunday School Class. She excelled at golf, most recently playing at Three Pines Country Club. And Hilda had an impressive three holes-in-one to her credit.

The Badger family would like to thank Hilda’s many friends, Comfort Keepers caregivers and Spartanburg Regional Hospice for the support during her illness.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC, 29306. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609, conducted by The Rev. Robert Mitchell.
