Herbert Brewington

Herbert Smith Brewington, 92, of Spartanburg, SC died Friday, July 12, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born January 8, 1921 in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Clarence and Millie Millwood Brewington and husband of the late Agnes Young Brewington. Mr. Brewington was retired from Beaumont Mills, of the Baptist faith and a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army. Surviving are his daughter Brenda Payne (Buddy) of Boiling Springs; granddaughter, Angie Payne of Inman; sister, Thelma Noblitt of Spartanburg; Several nieces and nephews; and a very special nephew, David Brewington. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Monday, July 15, 2013 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by Pastor Frankie Taylor.
