Herbalena Mcbride

Herbalena "Lena" Huffman McBride, 68, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at her home. Born March 28, 1949, in the Goucher community of Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Hazel Pressley Jenkins. Mrs. McBride enjoyed bowling and fishing and was a member of Clifton Church of God. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Jimmy L. McBride; daughter, Tracey Huggins (Ronnie) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Jordan Scruggs (fiancé, Danielle Turney), Samantha Huggins, and Jordan Huggins; sisters, Paulette Jett (Doug), Merle Parton (John), Janet Blackwell (Terry), and Catherine Murphy (Dale); numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Princess. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and John Ener. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372, with funeral services following at 11:00 AM, conducted by Chaplain Jeff Grant. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regency Hospice, 880 South Pleasantburg Drive Suite 1A & F, Greenville, SC 29607; or Mobile Meals Service, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
