Henry Gahagan, Jr.

Henry Warner Gahagan Jr., 74, of Wellford, died Thursday, February 9, 2012, at his home. Born July 1, 1937, in Marshall, NC, Madison County, he was the son of the late Warner and Polly Cook Gahagan. He was a former employee with Hoechst Celanese and of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors include his beloved wife of 55 years, Shirley Ann Davis Gahagan; daughters, Sheilah Gahagan of Wellford, SC, and Tina Bellew of Lyman, SC; son, Gary Gahagan of Wellford, SC; granddaughter, Misty Bellew of Wellford, SC; grandson, Christopher Bellew of Lyman, SC; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Trevis Tweed of Lyman, SC, and Pearl Landers of Walnut, NC; brothers, Johnnie Gahagan of Maryville, TN, Maynard Gahagan of Spartanburg, SC, and Richard Gahagan of Campobello, SC. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Sunday, February 12, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dean Elliott. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, Wellford, SC. The family is at the home.
