Henry "Frank" Iii

Henry Franklin "Frank" Hodges III, 72, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born May 7, 1946, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Henry Franklin Hodges Jr. and Doris Estelle Joiner Hodges. Mr. Hodges was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church near Radford, VA and participated in Prison Ministries in the Radford area. He attended Spartanburg Methodist College and Clemson University. He was an inspector with the Federal Office of Housing and Urban Development. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Rosalie York Hodges; daughter, Dorothy Booker of Midlothian, VA; a son, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, two brothers, and two sisters. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 13, 2018, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Dr. Schuyler Peterson. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gospel Light Baptist Church, 1556 Gallimore Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073.
