Hank Bonner, 56, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born May 4, 1958 in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Henry Carroll "Jack" Bonner, Jr. and Sandra Holland Bonner. A graduate of Wofford College, he loved Wofford football and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Hank was a very compassionate person who loved his family immensely. He was an avid reader, a member of St. James United Methodist Church, and was employed with the family business, Bonner Plaster and Tile Company. Survivors include his wife, Angela Burdette Bonner; sons, Henry Cale Bonner and Dillon Burdette Bonner, both of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Jody (Rick) Patterson of Spartanburg, SC, and Sharon (Terry) Phillips of Moore, SC; sister-in-law, Rhonda (Jeff) Atkinson of Moore, SC; father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Gloria Burdette of Wellford, SC; 12 nieces and nephews; and 2 great-nephews. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, June 30, 2014 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 AM Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at St. James United Methodist Church, 213 Lanford Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29301, by the Rev. Chris Barrett.
