Helga Moglin

Helga Moglin died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on June 18, 2022.

Born in Germany and raised in the Bronx, New York, Mrs. Moglin and her late husband Herbert moved to Spartanburg in 1959. Long time members of Temple B’Nai Israel, Mrs. Moglin was an active and beloved member of the congregation.

Mrs. Moglin is survived by her children, Alisa Frank (Mitchell Frank) and Neal Moglin (Mark Tendam); her granddaughters Madeline Frank and Avery Frank; her life children Alane Russell and Daniel Russell; and her life granddaughters Sophia Russell and Olivia Russell.

Her life was lived with love, compassion, humor and a genuine interest in the world around her. She lives on through the memories of everyone who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Congregation B’Nai Israel, conducted by Rabbi Yossi Liebowitz. Interment will immediately follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. For those wishing to attend virtually, you may view the services at www.facebook.com/OurTemple29302/.
