Helen Pye

Helen Lytle Pye, 96, formerly of Spartanburg, SC died Sunday, December 26, 2021 at her home. Born July 7, 1925 in Forest City, NC she was the daughter of the late George and Agnes Frazier Lytle and was the wife of the late Luther Earl Pye.

Helen was a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg. She loved to cook and take care of her family and her home. She loved her Lord, husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Luke Pye (Iris) of Inman, SC and Jody Pye (Tammie) of Spartanburg, SC; her daughter, Gale Finley of Wilmington, NC; granddaughters, Lisa Causey and Emily Pye; grandsons, Jim Finley and Luke Pye III; and six great grandchildren, Jimmy, Matthew, Carleigh, Nicholas, Jaimes and Jolene. She was predeceased by five brothers and sisters.

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy. 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, conducted by The Rev. Al Phillips. The Committal will be inside the chapel with visitation to follow.
