Helen Lazarowitz Price, 91, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 peacefully in her sleep. She was born to the late Mary and Samuel Lazarowitz in Brooklyn, NY on July 10, 1923. Helen was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Irving (Sonny) Price. In recognition of her efforts as the developer and head librarian, the library was named in her honor in 2007. Helen truly appreciated and enjoyed everyone around her, and had a unique way of making each and every person she met feel special. She is survived by her three children, Harold (Hal) Price and wife Kim of Dallas, TX, Sandy Nabow and husband Robert of Spartanburg, SC, and Janie Price of Charleston, SC.
