Helen Phillips

Helen Marie Phillips, 92, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at White Oak Estates. Born January 6, 1924, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Harley Wayne Phillips Sr. and Lillie Malone Glazner Phillips. She was retired from Arkwright Mills. Survivors include her sister, Virginia Thomas; nieces, Martha T. Trammell (Frank) of Weddington, NC and Helen Marie Phillips; and nephews, William David Phillips (Kathy) and Harley Wayne Phillips. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Harley Wayne Phillips, Jr.; and nephew, Shea West Thomas, Jr. Visitation will be 1:30 - 2:00 PM Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Robert C. Morgan. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
